Do You Carry A Revolver Exclusively?

I carry a Taurus 38spl. My fiance recommended it since they are the most trustworthy and don't jam like semi-autos do. Although, I really want to get a CZ Rami and start carrying that.

I carry a revolver at least 90% of the time, both as a primary and as a BUG. My primary is a S&W 325PD. This is the airweight 2 1/2" N-Frame in 45 acp. For a BUG I carry either a S&W Model 12, airweight K-Frame in 38 or a Colt Detective Special in 38.

I carry revolvers exclusively; I've never found a semi auto handgun that didn't jam....................
• EDCG is a Taurus® Mdl 617SS2 2¼" 7 shot 357 Magnum
• BUG#1 is a Taurus Mdl 605SS2 2" 5 shot 357 Magnum
• BUG#2 is a Taurus Mdl 85SS2UL 2" 5 shot 38 Special
(All reloads are 38 Special.)

S&W M&P 360
loaded with 125 gr. Corbon DPX .357 magnums, plus two speed loaders.

Just like the one pictured except mine has a semi-bobbed hammer spur.
It's my everywhere gun. Even when I have a semi-auto on me or somewhere close by this gun is in my pocket.

My wife confiscated my 637 and is using it as her emergency gun. It just gave me an excuse to go and buy a second M&P 360 to use as a spare:p

I carried the Colt D frames for many years..

especially the Agent and detective but the past 10 years it has been the Colt magnum carry that has been my constant companion. I like the simplicity ans reliability of the revolver.

For the last few months I have been in a revolver mode. A Rossi 642 with 158 gr. BJHP has been with me every day, and on the night stand. Before that a while it was a S&W model 65 4". But before long I will probably revert back to a Para Warthawg or Colt Combat Commander with 185 gr. bjhp+p Golden Saber. I like 'em botha nd have many to switch back and forth. Just plain like being armed... just in case...
Make that a Rossi 462..

I carry a Taurus Tracker in a 4" .44 mag. I have had auto-loaders in the past, but could never shoot them accurately. I've also had single action revolvers, but I find that most double action revolvers are very easy for me to shoot and get consistent accuracy.

Yep,ruger sp-101,nothing against auto's (I will be adding a full size 45 in the near future)but my sp has been everything I wanted in a carry gun.

Yes. Previously a S&W 64 4", now my main belt gun is a Ruger GP100 3". My "always" gun is a S&W 642 that usually rides in a pocket or on my hip.

Why? Nothing against auto loaders, but I like the fact that all of my guns have the same manual of arms. I like the reliability and I like they way they fit my hands. I've bought no less than two autoloaders over the past year, and neither of them have managed to work their way into my daily carry routine.

I have just transitioned from a SW 442 to a Ruger LCR 357. Current carry load is a cylinder of Glaser Blues w/ Speer 135 GDSB in Speed Strips.

Carry a 4" GP100 all day, every day. Mostly it's because it's the only handgun I own, but I've never run into a concealment problem in a Galco Miami Classic II, and like the feel of a full size gun. I doubt I'd get into snubbies except as a backup gun, but who knows, change is part of getting older.

As much as I can. I love my MP340, only my LCP is easier to carry but it just doesnt feel like a gun to me like the 340 does. Not knockin the Ruger cuz its been reliable and accurate.

90%+ of my carry is a j-frame in my front pocket. (S+W 342)
When I carry IWB it's an auto.

I guess it's strange that out of all my guns, one of my 3" model 65's is my overall favorite, and I never carry that.

CC revolver

I don't carry a revolver exclusively but do carry one regularly. I purchased a Model 19 not too long ago and it has been in my carry rotation since I finished my reliability testing.

I just ordered some 5star speedloaders for it and will see how they work out in the coming months. I'm not sure if I prefer the speed stripes or the loaders yet.

I also use a 642 as a BUG and summer carry. I don't use it very often since I picked up a LCP.

Revolvers 99% of the time. Carry: Snubbies S&W M37, M60, M642, M686P (3-inch). Truck: Ruger Service Six 4-inch Hunting back-up: Ruger Security Six 2 3/4 inch. DA Revolvers are the original point-and-click interface.

I carry a Taurus 445Ti in 44 Spc everywhere, but just picked up a 444UL-2 in 44 Mag with the 2 1/4"bbl. Looking for a good holster for the big boy right now. It's cold around here, so it fits nicely under my winter coat. It's light, but a bit on the fat side.
I've fired the 445 so many times I can't count (without a jam!)
Never had a FTF or FTE with a revolver and no safeties to fumble with should I ever need it in a panic situation. I've got a buddy with a Ruger 9mm that he can't get a magazine of any ammo thru without a jam.
The GF likes revos and refuses to have an auto next to the bed because of unfamiliarity with them.
Besides, I'm a reloader and got sick of chasing the brass a LOOOONG time ago. I've never lost an empty case at the range!

Generally either a .45 Kimber Ultra Carry or a PPKS .380 (sometimes one of my PPk in .22LR or .32acp)

In the woods, boonies or just kicking around & want safety, my modified 3-screw RBH 4-1/2" .45 Colt, S&W M65 3" or S&W M60.
