I have a dream about once a month that involves a bad guy breaking in my house or other random location. He knows I'm there and is hunting me down. I always seem to have my Glock 19 9mm with me.
It never works in my dream!
It jams always.
Last night I was being tracked down by a guy who had a shotgun.
I was outside swimming and made eye contact with a stranger. It was on, he must be trying to kill me.
I darted out of the pool into my basement to grab my trusty Glock.
I hid under the staircase because, like horror movies, he was right behind me.
To my horror, he made it down and turned off the basement lights.
HE HAD NIGHTVISION!
I watched as he searched for me. As he walked around, I could make out the outline of his body by the glow of the moonlight from the basement windows.
I fired.
My gun jammed upon trigger pull. I was spotted now. He shot at me twice and missed. His third shot got me, causing me to wake up.
My parents have this happen often too.
P.S. If my gun does fire in my dream, it usually ''lobs'' like a thrown baseball a few feet in front of me.
Am i alone?
