Personally, I can't stand the look of all these tan, green, and other colored guns that come out nowadays, weather it be the polymer parts or the finish in general. I get that in some cases the manufacturers are going for a desert or jungle combat look, and in some of the pink and purple guns they are trying to attract women shooters...... But I just don't like the looks. If it gets someone into shooting, then that's cool, and if it saves your life, then who cares what color it is.
But I just can't ever see myself buying a coyote tan or OD green firearm. To my eye, pistols look great nickeled, chromed, stainless, or blued. Different grips provide accents to the guns, and I'm happy.
So to each their own. It's a minor aspect of a gun anyway. But I'm just wondering if I'm in the minority here. Am I the only one who can't sand all these multicolored pistols?
