Do you like all the different colored guns nowadays?

My daughter loves both her Imperial Purple and the Sapphire Blue Pavona pistols, that's good enough for me. I don't think she cares what a bunch of fudd's think.

Yes, gang members in New York City and some other places have been discovered to have painted real guns in "dayglo" (or other ) colors to mimick toy guns to make them appear innocuous.
Funny, I can't seem to find any proof of this beyond one single person in California who used a Super Soaker shell to disguise his shot gun because he was a prohibited person. If it's as rampant as you say then surely Google would have come up with scores of hits supporting this claim.

NY Mayor Bloomberg thought it was worthy of a losing fight in 2006.

Ha! There you go. Thanks for that RC!

I get that some people don't want anything other than Blued, Wood or Black. I don't own anything other than that and my camo patterned Super Nova.

I just don't get why people get so riled up because someone wants a product more suited to their personality and taste. Others go even further to present scare tactics in effort to prevent that option from being available. There's no need for it.
Some of you guys should get over it and embrace more of a Liberty and Free Market mindset.
No one's forcing you to buy it or like it, but why give someone else a hard time because they do?

I have a Para SF-45A in coyote tan. I got it that way because it was a run of commemorative pistols to my unit for my deployment. I never would have asked for or sought out a brown gun, but now that I have it I do like it, it's something a little different.

It was a question of preference from the get go, and most everyone has stated yes they like them, or no they don't, and followed up with some sort of statement of buy what you want. I haven't seen any ridicule over choices really, nor statements that different colored guns shouldn't be produced.

Why so serious?

Adolf Bloomberg makes me sad. His ignorance could destroy nations given the chance.

It isn't ignorance. He knows exactly what he's trying to do.

Wasn't there an LC9 in digital camo a while back? I sort of liked that one.

You're not looking very hard, then. We just had one arrested in Hamilton county last week or two.

I have a Russian blood red furniture AK. I bought the wood unfinished and sanded it then finished it with water based powder dye which is a powerful but Russian looking red. All folks dig the color. I have a boringly pedestrian Colt Rail gun that I dehorned and Ceracoted OD. Amazingly looks nice with black grips. Lastly I have all the parts possible on my Daniel Defense AR including solid rail covers swapped to OD. This looks so much better than the factory black it's no contest.

I don't dislike them. I just worry that in 20 or 30 years they will be like the avocado kitchen appliances from the 70s.

Just saw something recently in main stream media about bad guy painting his firearm red so cops would think it a dummy gun.

I am a blued steel and walnut kind of guy, I am just warming up to stainless steel and composite stocks for my pdog guns. I have seen some crazy paint on some benchrest guns though! Some guns are tools, some are art. A black Glock, a black AR, a Remington 700 black with stainless bull barrel are just tools to me. An old SAA, any Sharps, old Winchester Hiwall or any of the older S&W revolvers are beautiful just the way the are, brand new or worn out. They don't need painting, plating or dipping.

While I prefer that my guns be blued or parkerized green, I don't really object, I have seen some really fancy "Texas Barbeque" guns I would dearly love to own.

One of my lady friends has a really cute pink .38 revolver, her then husband bought it for her as a joke, but she loves it.

well, lets see... I like Black, Blued, parkerised, and stainless finishes on metal. wood stocks look nice on a long gun, wood or rubber grips work well on a pistol .Im not fond of shiny finishes so im not into the nickel, gold or chrome plated stuff . I do not want my hardware to look like a toy . to me guns are tools, not art . But there are some beautyful guns out there that I would be afrade to touch or hunt with, but Im not a "collector" mine are tools function is foremost . If I get a nick in the stock on a Mossberg 500 Im not bothered. Now some of those high grade side by side customs I would be sick if i nicked something like that.so I guess its about what you like, and the intended usage. If style and fasion matter most, then get a raspberry pink pistol and matching pink cammo AR but for me, I realy like dark blue and walnut .

I really like tan guns tan any thing really (I live in Arizona it either like it or go crazy, ok maybe not that bad) but if I ever had the money to do up a nice race gun it would probably be black with silver and ford blue acents.
On a side note not a big fan of stainless

as far as actual guns go, blued or stainless, wood or earth-toned synthetic stocks. That's about as far as I'll go.

I did just branch out for the first time and my new Wolf Hollow G42 Kydex holster is forest green instead of black like all my others.......

I like the different colors for matching firearm with environment.

Earth tones I like, bright florecent colors, not so much.
