Do you own your holy grail?

So Lambo119 can I come over to play? I am in awe of that awesome collection. When I grow older and wealthier I hope to have one that rivals that.

hkenvy91: I picked up two boxes of .38 S&W easily, new manufacture. Remington, IIRC... got it at a small town hole in the wall. So you shouldn't have THAT much trouble...

I think (thought) so.... but coming to these boards has a tendency to make me want to get a couple more pieces to kind of round things out. I don't have anything that really fills the "varmint" role so I was thinking .223, but then again that's another caliber to worry about.


Probably happens to a lot of people, I suspect. I thought I was done, but I don't know now.... maybe I better cut down on the visits at least until after Christmas.

For me the holy grail of guns would be a 96%+ 1st gen Colt Single action chambered originally in 22 rimfire. How's that? Big Bucks! Heck, make it 100% and unfired! Just a dream as I will never be able to afford such a beast.

I had a chance on one about in 1990 for $10K. Didn't bite.

But then, full autos cost that much these days.
