Does 7 grs make a real difference?

I want to develop loads for the 45 ACP and 45 Auto Rim using lead RN. I have been using 230 gr, FMJ for both with good results, but now want to try lead. The bullet I have and intend to use weights 232 grs and the only loading info I can find for lead near that is for 225 grs. Would the seven grs make a big difference? do I follow the beginning and suggested max loads, within reason? Suggestions as to what I should look for would be appreciated.

Start at the start load data for the 225gr , youll be fine. JDGray

yeah, look at the percentage that 7 grains represents. Bearing lengths would also be important, but absent big differences in point style, those are likely to be quite close as well.

Use the 225-gr with confidence.

I think the grain weights of cast bullets are nominal. It depends on what alloy is cast, i.e., % of tin and antimony. Some mixes would be heavier than the advertised weight and others would be lighter.
