IIRC, sunlight is most intense in the green wavelength, that is why plants are green, to make use of this fact.

Uh, wouldn't it be that plants are green because they reflect the green wavelengths and therefore aren't using them?

Motion activated lights are good but they only work as security devices when they're backed up by other sensors, physical security measures, and armed response. Security 101.
