yeah...i need some sleep. I will name it ..."Nap".................... :D !

I name 'em all.

My carry pistol is kim. Tikka .300 WSM is Big Sam. Springfield M1A is 08. Moss 590 is Grey Ghost. I don't have near as many as some of you guys but I keep the barrels hot.

My Remington 700 is named "Snipy" for it obvious characteristics
My serbu 50 bmg is simply refered to as "The big one"
So far those are the only two that have earned names ;)

Any rifle I am using is called Charlene, (FMJ ;) ) except my Polish M44, which is named Irina. (just liked the name.) Never named a pistol.

A couple of mine have gotten names attached to them from time to time, but not usually on purpose. I've got a 308 Striker that I started calling Will because it's never met a load it didn't like. The wife started calling my Taurus 650 "the reverand" after reading an old post about naming guns and thinking it was funny. She also used to call my P32 Skate after it dropped out of my pocket and I kicked it, sending it skating across a parking lot. Had an SKS that was fondly refered to as "Money Pit". Have always called my 444 Contender barrel "the Hammer", because everyone does.

Then I have a toaster named Fat Tony, but he's been ticking me off lately. :fire:

I almost forgot about FrankenTula™! It is a 1938 Tula M91/30 that I bought as a barrelled action and mag group (complete with Bubbaized 23" barrel and home-bent bolt[since replaced]) for $25, bought a Hungarian M44 stock off eBay for $10, and had an accurate, if ugly, rifle for $35! :)

Not pretty, but puts 'em where I aim out to at least 100 yds. (longest I've shot it yet.) Almost as good as my 1930 Tula. ;)
