Does anyone still make a GOOD pocket revolver?

Almost any gun recommended above would do the job for you better than that RG .22. Have you ever fired it? An RG that fires every round in the cylinder is rare indeed. And I do think that it's possible to miss (assuming it fires) at point blank range with an RG. They are that bad. Get a J-frame Smith. Centennial versions are best for CCW. You'll be happy.

i just saw on one of the shooting programs the new version of Smiths old 32-22 kit gun. its an 8shot scandium frame about the size a average palm. it has some kind of fiber optic front sight but it could be modified for pocket carry.

man if you could get your mitts on one of those older models! a buddy of mine has one and its one sweeeet shooter!

have fun always

Thanks ya'll, I've been looking at all the suggestions. I carried auto's for yhe last few years for duty and off duty, so I do like them, but, for simplicity, dependability ( you can shoot them in a jacket pocket or pressed against someone without jamming a slide) and the fact my wife is totally gun illiterate, I'd just prefer a revolver for light weight concealment. Right now, it's cold enough I can carry the 1911 or the shopkeeper easily, but like I said, dinner at the family or hot summer doesn't require them.

Yes I have shot the RG. I know it's a rotten little gun. Sometimes it DOES snap on a round and doesn't fire. It may take a second hit of the firing pin to set it off. BUT, it makes my point, if it doesn't go off, keep pulling the trigger, the next round will. In other words, I know IF I will ever need to use it, I'll need to unload all six rounds because it is a .22, and I'm just trying to get away, not have a gunfight. If an auto hits a bad primer or doesn't doesn't go off for some reason, you have to jack the slide. Hard to do if your getting beat by some punks in hoodies. After a few years of experience I can tell you, Newtons laws seem to always hit at the worst time.

But that is why I asked you guys after reading posts on here for a year or more before actually joining the boards., I found some intelligent folks, not a bunch of wannabe gunfighters. (Been there, never want to be there again.)

BUT, there are a LOT of good suggestions posted!!!!!!!!
