Does CMP need the notary and everything for ammo alone?

I'd like to buy some of the HXP. I meet all the CMP requirements and was just wondering if I needed the whole form complete for ammo. It'll be a hassle for me to get notarized.

I think you will have to do at least one notary. However it is good for three years with CMP.

If I have to get it notarized it's going to be hard to not just order another M1 while I am at it...

The notary is only a signature notary. Every bank I've ever been to will do it free of charge for you, and there's almost always one or more teller's at a bank on a given day that'll do it for you. FWIW.

The CMP lists what it requires for which kind of purchase, real plainly, on their website: www.odcmp.com

Looking at the order form it's actually hard to say, which is why I posted. The list different directions on the order form for ammo vs. rifle.
