Just got my first CMP Garand and I'm beginning to think this is gonna be a money sink of a hobby. Hoooaaahhh!!! :)

For my next order, do I need to supply all the paper work like I did for the first? Besides the order form with my customer number, do I need proof of citizenship, club affiliation and notarized cert?

I think the CMP keeps your previous stuff on record. Check what they sent you with the first one you got, and see if they assigned you a customer number. I think you use that, and bypass sending in all the BS. You're already qualified.

I think you could even call them and submit the order, again, if you find that customer number.

You need to submit the same paper work every time you order a rifle from CMP.

Doesn't matter if its your second.......or 100th.

SanduneCC,

Steve in PA is correct.....

Remember, the CMP paperwork that you sign and have notarized serves the same purpose and replaces the "yellows" that you fill out when you make a firearm purchase in a gunshop or pawnshop. They still must have them to run the NICS check on you.

Garands forever,

Can you order more than one Garand at a time?

I thought I had heard or read someplace that you could only order one CMP Garand per year, but didn't see anything on their site when I went to verify that. (Could easily have missed it.)

The order form is setup in a way that would seem to indicate otherwise.

Thanks
