Gee, my first post here . . .
My preference is to carry IWB at 4:30. My background as an LEO--and also my training before that--taught me to always be aware of where my weapon is pointed, regardless of whether my finger is on the trigger, whether the gun is loaded, or whether it's fully "safed." For those who haven't thought this through, though I presume most have, carrying at the 1 o'clock position means that the gun is pointed directly at your femoral artery. Any unintended discharge in that position would almost certainly prove fatal.
