I am interested in getting a Walther PPQ Classic (also called the M1). I have an HK45C and like the paddle magazine release and so thought I might like the PPQ M1. Also, I was interested in the HK VP9 until I fired a friend's and the trigger, trigger guard, or whatever made my finger sore. I will be test shooting a PPQ M2, since I cannot seem to find the M1 available anywhere to shoot. If it doesn't bite my finger, I may go for the M1.
But in reviews, they show replaceable grips available for the M1 (the Classic). Maybe those are older reviews, but in all the information I can find on new M1s, nothing is mentioned about replaceable side grips like there are for the M2. Can anyone who has bought a new M1 recently confirm that?
