It was based on a couple things. First of all, having just bought my Glock, money was/is a bit tight. I figured the important thing for now was to get a solid number of rounds downrange; start practicing, etc. Because of that, I figured it would be best to buy a few hundred FMJ ($40-60 of ammo) instead of 40-60 quality JHP ($40-60 of ammo).Hey Bobson, why on earth would you/do you carry hardball in your 9mm again? Not that I'm your keeper or anything of course but that seems about the silliest/most ignorant thing a body could do.
Please elaborate.
After shooting, I decided I may as well load up the FMJ I had on hand, for now at least. Then I started to think maybe I should just use FMJ always. The department I work for issues FMJ for the Glock 19 (issued duty weapon), and I figured, maybe there's something to that. So I started this thread, and here we are.
