I think you all jumped on Krinkov way hard over nothing, but that's just MHO.

I will agree it's a bit dumb to show your guns to everyone, but how is keeping them in a closet, in YOUR house irresponsible and adding to the crime problem?
This is liberal BS at it's worst. (Sorry Fiveshooter, don't mean this as a personal attack, just launching at the idea itself). We have every right to expect that our possessions in our house will be there when we return. Someone breaks in and takes your TV or the nice China, so you're at fault because you didn't lock them in a safe? That's no different than guns. We should not have to place every last valuable in a damn safe in our own houses. Just because we don't doesn't mean we are irresponsible, or adding to the "crime problem" by "tempting" the criminals to steal stuff because it's only behind mere door locks.
Sorry, but what adds to the crime problem is letting these turds off time and again, not by owning stuff they want to steal. Leaving your garage open, or house unlocked when you're not home might be irresponsible, but you're not irresponsible if you don't lock every valuable thing in a safe.

I have an aquaintance who has had his guns stolen more times than I can count. He drags them out and shows them to every teenage friend that his sons bring into the house. He just stores them all in a closet.
In my opinion he and people like him only add to the crime problem. Such behavior is irresposible.
