Okay, only one pkg left to go out, and it's to someone I know, so I'll consider business basically tied up on the Douk-Douk end. Good buy, I've got one on my keychain now.

I don't anticipate doing any GB between now and April, but in April I'll get in contact with the Bakers and get current quotes on the Svord Gent Peasant, which is an all-steel 2" friction folder. Basically, a smaller and slimmer version of the Peasant, carbon-steel appleseed blade, etc.

If I can get 24+ orders, price should be comparable to the Peasant, so I'll put up notice on EDC and Candlepower, etc. If any retailers want in on this order, PM me and we can team up to save on Int'l shipping (which is a cast-iron one).

I don't think I can scrape up sufficient orders for his stag-handled GPKs, but if you contact Svord and pick the slow-boat-from-Kiwiland shipping, you might come in at a competitive price on the stag-handled, and he can do those in various sizes and blade profiles. I considered adding these to the buy, but hard to get min order. His other knives are rather pricey (though lovely), so the April buy will be GPKs only.

Take care,

If the Douk buy was any indication of future buys, I will probably be in for the next one. What a great little knife, with good service to boot. Thank you.

The Peasants were definetely neat and nice knives. I have a feeling that these are the same. :)

Just so everybody knows who tied up the works, that would be . . . .uh . . . this friend of mine. Named Don. Uh . . . . Gwinn.

No excuses, I'm just kind of an absent-minded doofus, and usually I cover it up by using Paypal the moment I buy something. Sorry about that. Can't wait to see the Douk-Douks.

And thanks for not busting me out. :)
