Missed Thursday due to work, but took yesterday off. My Brittany doesn't like to sit around at the tanks. Thinks it's boring, and would rather run around, so we usually leave those spots for others, and walk the washes and just hunt them like they're upland game. Still get pass shots, and she points them in the trees and on the ground. Due to my poor shooting, we only got one bird, but there were plenty around. All mourning doves. Have to stick to the tanks to get whitewings, in my experience. Saw some Inca doves in town, as well as lots of whitewings and collared Eurasians, but out where you can shoot them, mostly mourning doves.
