This is my current set up on it right now, looking to add a suppressor to it next week hopefully and am attaching a single mount sling to it as we speak!

And dom1104 DPMS makes some of the most reliable and efficient AR's on the market. Just happens the Sporticals are the cheaper of AR-15's but quality and reliability are still there no matter what the name of the gun is!

Update! New upgrades!!

Hello Folks!

I just threw a couple things on my gun this weekend including the Spike's Tactical CAR1 CAN and the Blackhawk's single point sling system. Enjoy!

Is that even true? I always thought DPMS was considered "bottom tier" in AR world. With Oly Arms etc.

Maybe I am misinformed but I thought they actually had a bad reputation quality wise.

And yes, call me crazy but I will never own a gun called Sportical. I just cant do it. I would laugh at MYSELF every time I saw it, not to mention the ridicule at the range. And I get enough jokes made about my groups

At one time I think DPMS had quality issues, but that was years ago. They make a top notch rifle now.

I don't know the past history of DPMS if they did have issues they certainly fixed them. Mine has yet to fail me after about a thousand rounds.

I'm glad i didn't purchase it in the "lemon" phase of their production cuz I'm in love with mine. It has never let me down!

Can you put a Magpul B.A.D. Lever on a sportical upper? There is a cut-out on Sportical uppers that differ from standard uppers.

Response from DPMS about the Magpul BAD lever on Sportical uppers:

The Magpull BAD will not work with the Sportical (Lo-Pro Upper receiver).
