DRACO AK pistol trunk mount

I don't know how small Eugene Oregon is, but unless every other LEO in town knows you I'd be worried about being at an active shooter situation with an AK. Unfortunately, thanks to Hollywood AK's just scream bad guy. And in a situation like that, I think a responding officer is likely to shoot you in the back on site if he sees a pile of dead bodies at a mall and a guy with an AK.

Depending on how you normally dress you may want a briefcase or toolbag in the trunk too. I always thought a trunk gun would be most useful in a situation when you are at work and someone is calling and making threats- not significant to get a police officer stationed outside, but disconcerting nonetheless. So you take the long gun with you and put it under your desk for a day or two just to be on the safe side.

i like it, but i have seen something that i consider to one up you, i saw a police car once with one of thoose simple car gun racks, but it was mounted to the headliner/roof

basically, if someone wlaked up to you car, they wouldnt see it because of the angle, if they did see it theyd almost have to be inside your car, however, if you saw them, you could grab your gun of the rack by reaching straight up and back a little, a little bit faster, but doesnt work with all types of vehicles, some areas might even outlaw a mount like that

it looks like your draco is secured pretty well and i rally like the idea, i was wondering where you kept the mag though, i didnt see one, in the picture?
