Draco AK47 - welded on muzzle break?

I'd like to change the muzzle break on a Draco AK-47 pistol but the original flat muzzle attachment has been welded on. Is there a legal reason for this?

Can I just cut the weld, unscrew the flat muzzle attachment and screw on a different break?

Yes, just cut the weld, and unscrew the muzzle nut and you can then use any standard AKM muzzle device.

Is there an adapter available to allow you to install non-AK flash hiders? I'd like to put the quick attach flash hider from my AAC 7.62SD suppressor on it.

You'd have to have one custom made, I'm afraid.
