Dumb question about .50 bullets

There's all kinds of ".50 cal bullets". If a site isn't very specific about what kind, don't order any.

lol thanks for the reply i know not to use Rifle .50 cal bullets.

Was Wondering if the link i posted would work when reloading for 50Ae
 
The .50AE uses true .500" dia. bullets. Nominal factory weight bullets run 325 grains.

THe .50 BMG uses .511" dia. bullets in the 700 - 800 grain weight range.

What you need to look for are .500" dia pistol bullets, not .50 cal MG bullets.

there are bullets that are just labeled as .50 bullets and some that are labeled .50 AE.

.50 Action Express is a handgun cartridge. Bullet weights should be 300ish grains. A bullet for .50 Browning Machine Gun weighs twice that or more.

I'd say for my money the Rainiers you referenced are pistol bullets usable in your desert eagle.
