Any news on those single shot and double rifles that EAA has been advertising for the last year or two? Anyone ever seen one? I've been waiting to order one, even saw an ad last month. I just checked their website, and they don't even list any rifles - just handguns. I guess Remington is buying every shotgun they can produce for their Spartan line, but what happened to the rifles?

I noticed that too when I went to look at their pistols - the rifle/shotgun section is gone...

I still have to get myself one of those Kalishnakov's in .308! :D
Might be kinda hard to find now?

Look for another thread about Saiga rifles. EAA imported Russian rifles manufactured by Saiga. Apparently, EAA has dropped Saiga, and a new importer may be in the wings.

racenutz - thanks. Apparently Remington is buying and marketing every long gun EAA makes. Great! Maybe now I can finally get one...

I'm sure I'll be corrected if wrong, but I don't believe EAA makes long guns. Actually, I think they import all of their guns.

Remington isn't buying guns from EAA, its buying them from the original manufacturers.

Remington also only picked up some of the guns EAA used to import, the Saigas are going to another importer.

Whoops - that's right. (I was told that before - good memory, but short). Hopefully this will mean a good supply chain, and I'd like to believe that Rem. will have some oversight on the engineering i.e. reliability and quality. (or not...)

I do not know where it was ordered from, but a guy at the shop just got a Saiga O/U 30-06. Gangly looking thing, can't say it did anything for me, but he liked it.

CDNN has the O/U 30-06 "Express" rifle. $299.99 w/ 6x42 scope. I've seen a couple used ones from time to time at the Cabela's in Kansas City. CDNN also still has a number of Sagia's in stock, including the shotguns, for those still wanting one.

I have a EAA IZH-94 combo gun. The upper barrel is 12 gauge and the lower is 6.5x55 Swed. I really think the barrels should be the other way just to make sighting easier but understand it was done that way to keep the trigger for the rifle closer to the stock. The gun is a hoot to shoot but needs a recoil pad in the worst way as it comes with a hard plastic one. I have heard CDNN had these for $250 and seen them at the local overpriced shop for full MSRP.
