Funds will not be available for the GP100 that I want. I did a search on EAA revolvers and found very little. Supposedly German made, solid and inexpensive. Anybody have experience with these revolvers? I'm eyeing a 357 Magnum with a 4" barrel.
There really isn’t much info out there on them. The reviews I have seen aren’t spectacularly detailed and are not normally either very positive or very negative. I want a target type revolver and I want to do it in a different format than the 686, GP100, DW15 guns. I keep looking at Charter and EAA but I just don’t see much out there that makes me want to jump OR run.
I have heard about them, have read plenty reviews but have never actually seen one.Have you looked into Alfa Proj revolvers? I've been tempted by those a few times, and I think they'd be far more suitable for target shooting than the Windicator thing (which seems more like a glovebox gun than a target gun).
im always tempted to buy the eaa and the alfa proj, but I always decide against it when I consider completing the purchase.

I have a bunch of Rugers in revolvers and pistols and I still say one of my favorite guns is the Windicator. It's in class by itself. It is much lighter than my GP100 . Can carry it appendix and hardly no it's there and with 6 357magnum rounds in it I feel very well protected. Yes, it's not the most refined revolver but that's not why I have it. I'm even thinking of getting another one. Keep one more for carry the other for practice .
Wish I'd have seen this before I plunked the downstroke on the 357 I just ordered.....People, people, people................ The EAA 357 Windicator is by far the best bang for your buck! It is easily a 500 dollar value. It is a german tank that can't be broken. 38s feel like 22s, and 357s feel like 38s! Trust me when I tell you that this is a no nonsense workhorse of a gun! You can beat the balls off it, and it'll ask for more. Clean, lube, and take care of this puppy, and you'll see that it's a lifetime aquisition. It's just a tuff ass wheelie! And for you Smith snobs, those airweights are garbage in your hand! Try firing a 357 out of one of those toys, and then let me know how your hand feels!
