Any comments on this gun combo? I can't find many reviews on the net about this gun, but the few I've found are positive. Does the gun work good in BOTH chamberings?

Why doesn't EAA or the Witness get more notoriety if they're good? I'm thinking about getting one. Thanks for any input you can give.

I'm presuming they're made in Italy...is that correct?

I too was looking at this combo and would like some info, the reviews I have read so far have been pretty good

They're okay for the price. If they were priced higher and put into the discussion with popular service grade pistols, they do not match up. With a little effort from Tanfoglio, they could be a contender.

Add EAA into equation, and you have why the Witness is always an "also ran". Awful CS. Pathetic attempts at marketing. Dealers often won't carry any EAA products because they do not want to deal with EAA. I've had numerous dealers spit and make the sign of the devil when asked about EAA. Combine that with the fact that Tanfoglio does have a tendency to churn out some half-baked stuff now and then...

The conversion is going to be something along the lines of the Kadet kit for Cz. It replaces the slide/barrel and also the magazine. The CZ Kadet is a fantastic piece of kit. If you want a 9mm and a 22 lr all in one gun that is the way to go. Yes it costs more, but they are truly excellent.

For the price it sounds like a great deal. I've been looking for one to handle for awhile but none of the local shops have any in stock.

While a Tanfoglio isn't my favorite pistol. The 9mm/22 combo would make one of the best starter pistols I could think of.
