eBay's silly new policy: Reloading equip. unaffected?

I think you can do that now on Gunbroker.com and Gunsamerica.com

I cancelled my eBay membership today and shutdown Pay Pal account too. Bunch of liberal rot. We will all find a way to live without it, I'm sure.

Actually, they did us a favor because their policies have been unappetizing at best, IMHO.

Ebay may quickly reverse this decision as shooters did not just purchase shooting stuff off the site. I still don't have a handle on exactly why people bid close to or over retail. Check out this auction:

I can get this new with all the pieces from Sinclair for $145. Right now the savings is $12, not worth it in my opinion but I doubt that this is the end of the bidding.

I think it's more likely that they don't reverse the decision, but just don't police it rigorously, at least for items like this. I do wish they'd reverse the decision, and stick with the status quo, but that seems to me unlikely.
