Just a few I finished up recently , the tan G10 one I made for myself , about time I started carrying one of my own.
First model I have named also , EDFU ( you choose Every Day Fixed Utility ) or Every Day Friggin User....
Specs on all the EDFU's are pretty close , I don't make patterns so each one is a slight bit different from the others ( never could color inside the lines in school either ).
These were all made from D2 , Paul Bos Heat Treat .
Steel: .152 thick D2 with Paul Bos Heat Treat
Average OAL: 6 5/8"
Blade: 2.75" to 3" ( I try to keep it just under 3" )
Finish: 400 grit hand finish on the blades and 320 grit on the scales ( to provide plenty of grip ).
First one is my daily user , scales are only sanded to 220 grit , I like em to stay grippy when wet. Made this last month to take on my vacation to Pittsburgh.
Shown here with a couple others I been carrying lately.
