Hey guys!

I want to ask if you could email a person at Glock, requestting that they make the Glock 20SF!

Yes, SF in 10mm!

The more people stand up and ask, the more likely GLOCK is to make it! :)

So, here's the email I want you to send a request for the G20sf to: [email protected]

Spread this around to other forums you visit! Let's be pro-active about this, and it could become reality in the near future! It all mainly depends upon the DEMAND of the product, in order for it to be readily SUPPLIED! Remember! :)

G20SF ...

E-mail sent.

Don't know which I'd like to see first, a G20SF or Vltor's improved "Bren Ten," the all-steel 10mm Fortis.

Then there's always Colt's new run of stainless Delta Elites.

Things are looking up for us long-suffering 10mm fans. ;)

Gotta love the SHOT Show. :)

BTW, IIRC, the 10Ringers over on GT were also e-mailing for a G20SF model.

Nice Thread, keep it going!

I sent my email in hopes of seeing a Glock 20 SF or even better yet,
a Glock 29 SF.

Sometimes I dream Big. This time it is Smaller:)

I'm surprised that they haven't already made one as many people have reported success by putting a 20 slide on a 21 SF frame. I think you just need to mod the mags to work with the ambi mag release and then they function fine.

I e-mailed Chad last week, never received a response though. :(

I would purchase one in a HEARTBEAT. Beater woods gun, anyone! :D

cheese,

To shoot .40SW from a model 20, you only need a .40SW barrel made specifically for the 20 (and maybe a different recoil spring-- not sure). These are available. Some people do this so they can shoot their "long loaded" .40SW ammunition reloaded for SV/STI USPSA/IPSC pistols in their Glock (typically loaded to 1.20" or longer).

To do the same in the 21, you would need the same type of barrel but made specifically for the 21's wider breech face. And then, you might or might not have extraction problems due to the 20/21 slides' and extractors' different geometry.

Zak

Just so I am sure, I get the 21SF without the ambi mag release and put my glock 20 slide on it and use my glock 20 mags and it will work fine. Then could I put the 21sf slide on the 20 frame and use glock 21 mags in it?

Correct. I have done this using a buddy's model 20 top-end on my 21SF frame.

As for the latter, I believe this will work.

There may be a change in the ejector, but shooting a mag through the 20 top + 21SF bottom worked OK.

An XD in 10mm would win me over, but if Glock beats Springfield to it with a (semi) ergonomic SF version of their 10mm guns, I would pick one up either way.

Sometimes I think there is still LOTS of room for improvement in the handgun industry. Sometimes I think the manufacturers really don't care too much about the civilian market and what they have to say. It's always about the LE sales these days... aren't there like 10000000x as many law-abiding, gun-toting citizens as there are cops out there? Why don't the gun companies try harder to take some of our hard-earned cash?
