Enfield 2A Sight or Scope options

I've used the XS scout mount and a OneHotMount scout mount on an Ishy. The XS mount was messy as heck but mechanically simple to install; it requires modification to the forearm. The OneHotMount was far more mechanically difficult to install but did not require modification to the forearm to work. Of the two, I preferred the OneHotMount; just bring a big deadblow hammer, a bunch of wood blocks, and a significant heat source or you'll be at it for a while. Neither of them allowed the scope to be REALLY low on the bore, but the OneHotMount did move the scope out far enough such that you have the option to use either a scout or a pistol scope. The XS mount is too close to the eye to allow the use of most pistol scopes.

Barring either of those two, you'll be stuck looking for someone to D&T your receiver for a rear aperture sight.
