EOTech Sight on a M1A too high??

I installed my new EOTech sight on my SA M1A...it looks just too dang High...It sure points naturally tho, so I dont know how well it would work...No cheek touching Stock at all...

That's pretty high even if you use a cheekpiece that's gonna be a stretch. I think the only way to get an eotech low is to get the mount like they have on the scout and socom rifles.

You might consider a GG&G quick release mount on the Scout set up so you can remove the Eotech(it doesn't appear they cowitness) in a hurry.
