I don't know, I've had mine about 5 years with no issue . It's been great, there are a lot of new options but mines been rugged and reliable . haven't heard of a recall , but I don't do much in the AR/ tactical realm.
Personally, I gave up on them and stick to Aimpoints and Acogs for firearms that matter.
I have those too. Just like the Reticle on Eotechs.
The issue of putting our troops at risk by knowingly supplying faulty products?Did Eotech ever fix their issues?
Don't know but think they just just sold. Interesting to see how that goes.

If you like eotech , just get one. I've had mine 5 years as I mentioned April 1st , no issue. I wasn't aware of the recall or sights with trouble . I have the basic 2 AA simple eotech, bought it because I always have spare batteries and the price was right. I'm not an AR guy, just have one cause everyone should, so I can't say I'm running that rifle a lot. Generally I usually shoot 10 mags in the spring and 10 in the fall, just to ensure function and confirm zero. A guy shooting thousands of rounds a year may have a complaint that I wouldn't see for decades, so take that for what it's worth.I’m a bit surprised at the lack of response thus far as I was sure plenty of guys must have owned them. I too an on the fence, having looked through them here and there and having a BIL who’s nearly convinced me to take the leap. Always wanted one, just been suckered into the world of cheap but useable red dots till now.
Hoping this thread gets a bit more chatter.
