Nice buck! I boiled an 8 pointer I shot this past hunting season and just have it sitting with the pile of pitiful antlers on top of the gun cabinet. Never found a nice mounting board to put it on yet.
Drive a brass screw (it looks nicer) through the panel into the thickest part of the base of the skull (about 2" from the back). Drill a pilot hole first. I tape a thin sheet of cardboard under the teeth so they don't scratch the panel while I'm working on it.
Drilling into the skull made me nervous the first few times, but either I've been lucky or it's hard to screw up. If bad comes to worse, I've always figured that epoxy is cheap!
