"...The majority of seized weapons were reported stolen from the same places, states known as "hot spots" for illicit guns, including Virginia, Pennsylvania and North and South Carolina." The underlining is mine. What does one have to do with another? The guns were either stolen, a crime in and of itself, or they weren't. The implication in the sentence is that somehow these other jurisdictions are to blame for letting the guns be stolen and if they only had NY's strict gun laws this would have never happened. Shows how NY's focus on legal gun owners means nothing if they can't enforce existing laws. See full story here:

It is New York. Honestly, is anyone ever surprised anymore? All I have to say is that I am a bit more than a month away from showing up in TX, and swapping my permanent residence to TX.:)

Bloomburger. This is a guy who sent private individuals to another state to willfully violate laws regarding firearm purchases, then chose to sue the same state for violating the law.

Yes, the State in question is Georgia.

I guess if a State is a known "hot spot" for illegal gun deals, it's a better target for stealing them according to the media; so much for logic..........
