I got my Colt Delta back from Heirloom Precision yesterday. I've been without her for almost two years. When I opened the box I *might* have even whispered a sweet nothing or two.

Must not get the urge to buy a new gun must fight urge
THR convinced me I needed a revolver. It's on hold and I will pick it up in a few weeks. I started looking at the rifle board and my gf started to proactively explain what will not be happening in my future if there is a rifle in my future.Yea, I know what you mean. It usually starts by logging on to THR
Read a few threads...
Here's a good thread... Someone bought a new gun, range report, with pics!
Another thread: What's this? CZ won't be putting out the CBOB next year? Hmm, I've been wanting one. Don't need it, just want it.
Now, however, there's a sense of urgency. Reading further into the thread someone says "Glad I got it when I did". The urge builds... Another comment, prices will be going up. Heart rate accelerates.
Now I'm thinking "Where did I last see one in stock? Was it Bud's? One of the local shops had one a while back, I wonder if they still have it? I'll give them a call in the morning..."
OK, gotta chill... Reach back and unholster the XD, drop the mag and rack the slide. That sound alone starts the cool down. Grip the slide and lock it back... chamber check, all clear. Release the slide. Feeling better. Get a good grip... Yeah, she feels good in the hand. Point, dry fire, all calm.
