yea then don't shoot that many rounds? who the hell goes through 1000 rounds a week? thats nuts, you'd have lead poisening in six months i'm sure heh..
During most of the year I went through a little more than this as practice isnt cheap. And when your at the range 4 nights a week and shooting on the weekend, it adds up fast
Yeah personally I don't find 1,000 rounds a week to be a whole heck of a lot. And to get to 32k a year you wouldn't actually have to shoot but 700 or so in a week. That's only 100 a day. Yikes! I was planning on having my Glock a little longer then a year or two.
Exactly! I have just under 11k rounds through my Glock 23 and I have owned it for 6+ years... so I consider it being babied as stated earlier (NIB brand spankin new... after 10k+ rounds still has that new gun smell)
Yeah I expect alot out of my firearms which is why I stick with the best and only the best You might need to have it checked out as that is definitely not normal from this firearm.
Though I am not sure many firearms are good for 20,000; 25,000, 30,000+ rounds But I would expect nothing less than 100,000 from a Glock before I have ANY large maintenance issues.
