Well after I got my AK clone this week I figured Id get the Evil black nemesis also.

Its a Stag model #2. Got it for $850 and added the extra GI mags.

And as before with the AK I have 1K of .223/5.56 on order.

Now the hard part is waiting for the ammo to arrive.

Not sure if I want to do anything with this or not. may try a qual rail so I can mount quick release bi-pod. A lamp would be nice but Id be tempted to jack light some yotes and that can get me in trouble out here. A EOTECH or Aimpoint might be nice if funds allow. And I do have a 3x9 Bushnell sitting around too if I want to make a walk about varmint gun.

I have a Weatherby Vanguard but it get heavy after a few miles so that may happen. But then do I want to paint it to match the sage land here or not? Oh well that stuff can wait I just want to shoot it and the AK.

If it has the typical AR trigger I would fix that before ANYTHING else. My M4gery went from pretty awful to a great trigger by virtue of putting in a decent match trigger.

Everything else is details. KISS is a good thing to remember, too.

Maybe a beef-up to the extractor as carbines seem to need them eventually. I put in a "D-Fender".

Yes the trigger is gi style awful compared ot my Dan Wesson or even my Vanguard. I think Timney do a nice drop in as does RRA.

And yes its an AR carbine so simple is best. An optic of some sort and the bipod is most likely all that will get "bolted" on to it.
