Extreme "gunny" behavior

Taking your gun into the can is not extreme - leaving it unattended while you dump would be irresponsible.

My extreme gun behaviors are:
I have a dress gun, meaning one that I wear with a suit.
There are places that I WILL NOT go because I cannot (legally) go there armed.
I refuse to do business with companies that are anti-2A
1000 rounds on hand is 'almost out of ammo'
I have sold things - things that I like - to buy guns
I have credit card debt from buying guns and ammo

And in the spirit of this post...
I have withdrawn from my friends and family to go shooting
I have lied to my family and friends about guns
I put on my gun first thing in the morning
Shooting calms me down
Work is causing me problems getting on gun forums

Fixed it for ya.

Are you kidding? You have them pretend to shoot a child? And you post about it on line? Someone from social services is undoubtedly enroute to your house by now.

What, did you never play soldier when you were a kid? Never played cowboys and indians? I think a child growing up and not playing at shooting each other is the unhealthy thing. I suppose in this day and age I might not post about it online, but I wouldn't get on him about it.

I have tablet and an IPod neither of which have any pictures of my girls, but are full of pics and videos of my guns. Wife just reminded me, do have several pics of youngest holding/shooting guns on the pod.

Does this count?
I invented a game today in the pool: my 13 year old hollers "PULL" and I throw the 7 year old up in the air past them as they cycle their pump guns at her going bang-bang-bang.
Man, that's hysterical! Your kids are gonna be taken away from you someday but it'll be funny till then.

Balance man!

Hell -- my mom and I had watergun fights when I was a kid! 'course I was a surprise and she hated me... but that's not the point. We had fun. 'course she never actually pretended to sacrifice me to the water-Trap-shooting gods either.

Hmmm...

Has anyone considered he might have meant they shoot pump squirt guns at the flying kiddo? Sounds more like a pool game to me...

Um, Noah, I think you may be the ONLY one who DIDN'T understand that.
Geez man!

Lets see...

You carry one to the bathroom with you.
You get a combat rifle out of the safe when you watch war movies.
You constantly point out every mistake in movies..."hey, he shot 9 times in a revolver without reloading!
Every new gun you buy becomes a constant companion and tbe old one goes in the safe.
Your wife says no to naming your newborn Ruger, HK, or Remington.
....removed last one as it might be in poor taste....

added...you refer to your kids as Gen1 Gen 2 Gen 3
Anyone have more suggestions of being too "gunny"?
If you don't have the proper weapon how can you enjoy a war movie? I have to go watch some porn now.

Standing in Walmart with your last $10, mentally balancing, "pizza or ammo, pizza or ammo"

What Wal-Mart are you at where you can get any kind of ammo for $10?

:(

A buddy of mine just found out that he was the official "special gun store rat". Kinda like a gym rat, you know, the guy who lifts one set then spends the next 45 mimutes yakking at everyone in a continuous cycle. Only this is at the gun shop.

I will give him credit...a gun store rat will sometimes call you when a good deal can be found

That's an easy decision to make. You better go get the pizza because you're not going to find any ammo for $10 even at WM. Heck, you probably won't find ammo there at any price.
Normally I would agree, but just six days ago. I found three, fifty round boxes of .22lr for sale at the local WM, for $2.20 apiece,:D (they had 7, but policy is no more than 3 per customer:()

With tax was a little over $7! Naturally the ammo won out over pizza, (I could stand to lose a little weight anyway)

Too bad that when I got home, I dragged out the 10/22 and shot it all up in one go!:uhoh::(

Still, it was a lot of fun!:D As all the cans with holes in them can testify to!

Whats on "Safe" Tonight

So I have a weird habit of just standing in front of my Safe and starring into it.

My wife refers to it as me "Watching Safe".

"So honey whats on Safe tonight". Or "Honey I'm gonna watch the Kardashians so why don't you go Watch Safe".

Safe is a great program and there's never any commercials!!

Sometimes Watching Safe turns into "completely reorganizing Safe for no reason other than I want to take everything out of it and put it back in again"

I totally agree that 1000 rounds is "just about out of ammo".
