Atticus: Unless I've meet/know them personally, all biological organisms are an "it" unless I can readily discern the gender of the organism in question. Since this thread address hypothetical children of an intermediate gender, said child is an "it". This also applies to cats, birds, squirrels and most spiders.

As for having an issue with children. I don't. I love children. 'specially with flava beans and a nice chianti.

Unfortunately, "it" has become an accepted non gender specific term.

Isn't INTENTIONALLY opening one of those fire doors if there is no fire a malicious false alarm? IIRC, that's a felony, here...
