Family Reunion

Smith and Wesson made many Model 25s chambered for .45 Colt.

That's actually a good price for a mechanically sound Bolo.

Love them!

I was going to offer $1,000 for the Bolo but it was already gone… ooowell! can’t get them all. I did get a perfect condition American Crest Luger in .30 for $1500… they were asking $1700

Several more have arrived since this image was made. These are all 45 ACP.

what you guys think about the S&w 1917

You tell me.

Again, all ACP.

Okay, only the bottom 3 are 1917s, one military and two commercial. The upper left is a Model 25-2 that I used in competition. The upper right is the Model 22-4 built to be a modern replica of the revolver just below it, the Model 1950, Army revolver. The Model 1950 is one of the rarer Models produced, only 3976 were made.

now that’s a collection!

Perfect background for that gun. Should be called the number 2. Seriously though, you need a less pretty and affordable Model 28. Same smooth action as the Model 27 minus the beautiful finish. I bought one last year and overpaid at $900 but you could do better.
You don’t have to convince me! Looking right now! my local has just about everything and pre lock Smith is calling me!

I like the older models better, too, but they don't have to be old to be good shooters.

This modern S&W in 45acp goes to the range with me often. It's a great shooter and ammo is NP.
