When traveling in the summer, and often wearing only a t-shirt and cotton shorts, I have carried in my Coronado Leather cross carry bag. It works well, but looks too much like a "man bag" and gets me a lot of strange looks. I was thinking about using a fanny pack (don't laugh) that is suitable to securely carry this gun, but I don't want one that screams out "gun here!". Any suggestions?

I'm not sure I'd like to carry in anything that would allow the gun to change positions. A holster holds the gun in one position; you never have to "feel around" for the right end of the gun.

And I have a P97 also....terrific gun, but maybe a bit heavy to lug around in a fanny pack. I can envision lots of adjustments happening.

Of course, with the conditions that you described, a fanny pack at least wouldn't look out of the ordinary.

Aside from my rambling, I'm sorry that I have no good advice for you. :)

Plenty of gun related fanny packs on the market. look at Bianchi first..then
others.

I live in E. WA state. a fanny pack is OK for summer months, but looks out of
place in december around here.
