CD has decided to close its doors, and was working on importing the Tavor from IMI (IWI)...what now?

Anyone think another company will step up to the plate and begin importing (or building under contract) the Tavor? :uhoh:

If there's enough of a demand for IWI products, it'll still happen.

I just don't see much of that specific demand in the current marketplace.

IWI Really screwed itself. Who's going to import the pistols(Baby Eagle?). Tavor is dead.

Also looking for details.

The "G4" 1911 was coming from Bul, which AFAIK is unrelated to IWI. I'm not aware that IWI is anything more than a manufacturer that just lost an importer/distributer. But I would be interested to hear if there is more to the story.

IWI is going to be fine -- they make plenty of money on .mil and .gov sales to places like Colombia and India. An importable Tavor here in the US won't hurt their bottom line any, but isn't the business move their fate as a company hinges on.
