Anyone else spend the day at the range shooting?

Took my son and hit the range for the day, had a good day of shooting. One of my friends had his M2 out and my son had a blast shooting it. I think I'm going to have to buy him an M&P 15-22, the old 10/22 just isn't cool looking enough for him.

Let plenty of bystanders shoot the .50 and keep the brass, not sure which they liked better. Seeing that .50 Cal smile is always worth is letting them shoot it.

Also had the new to me Mauser and 1903 out, both are great shooters. I shot so much 8mm and '06 that my shoulder will probably hurt for a week. They're so nice that I couldn't stop shooting them. Maybe I'll set up paper next time out to see how they group but banging steel all over the range was just to much fun.

Hope you all had a great Fathers Day and made it to the range.

Yup, my boy came by and we went to the range, he was shootin his new Knight .50 and I was shootin my .257 Weatherby. Had a great day.....got the brass in the tumbler now so we can do it again.

Next year. My 11 year old gets his 10/22 on his 12th birthday in October so next year will be father & son range trip. He will also have a PPSH50/22 by then as well.

My son and I hit the range with our SKS M59/66's. One is original wood and the other has the tapco stock. The wood looks much better but the 20 rd mag on the tapco is pretty nice too.

My son's target was full of holes. Luckily we can use mine again next week :)

Went back to the Metcalf Gun Show in Tulsa to pick up an ATI stock for my Mini 14.

Yep. It was a great day.
Hung out and watched some of the U.S. Open, ate a bunch of ribs, and returned a bunch of lead back to mother earth. Good stuff.
