Had to go with the Browning. Mostly because I am quite fond of the later iteration, the FNP-9. The folks at Fabrique National still make a fine pistol.

S&W 3913, hands down - and I have owned 3 of the guns on the original list, and fired all of them. I own 2 3913s now, and none of the others. I do also own a 5906....

Voted for the CZ 75B - I like the grip ergos and it's accurate & reliable

I had a BHP in the '70s, it had extractor issues. Sold it. NIce though
and I'm sure it could have been tured.

Shot a Pss6 and an M&P a while back on the same day, Iliked the M&P a lot better than the 26 as well as a Glock 19 that a friend has.

Note: #1 is a .45 1911

Glock 26

I just dont understand the appeal of the BHP, its expensive and has a terrible trigger out of the box.

There are few aftermarket parts or many options at all.

In fact I would say there is nothing it can do that the CZ 75 series cant do better.

When I was looking for my first handgun a little less than a year ago I had narrowed it down to either a XDM9, FNP9, or a M&P9. While I was on here a few people suggested a CZ.

I really like the lines of the 75, but I really liked how the others felt in my hand, especially the FNP and the M&P. A couple of days later I went to a LGS and they had a CZ75 Compact. So I asked the employee to see it and I swear as soon as I had it in my hand I heard angels singing. The grip felt like it was molded specifically for my hand and the natural point of aim was truly amazing. I knew at that exact moment I was going to buy a CZ. I really love the lines of the 75, but I wanted a rail so I ended up with a SP-01.

In the last nine months I have bought six handguns and that CZ is still my favorite handgun to shoot and it serves as my HD gun.

I have shot the Beretta and Glock as well. The Beretta is a fine gun, I just like the CZ better. The Glock's ergos are just way off for me. I cannot speak too much on the other two since I have never shot them, but I will say that I also think the HP is a beautiful gun, but I still like the lines of the CZ better. I love the SP-01, but someday I will own a 75 as well.

The only 9x19 pistols I have and ever had are a CZ P-01 and a P226. It's a pretty tough call between the two but I'd probably call the SIG the better of the two. My P226 is an original (2007?) blackwater edition (bought new) and it has been superb from day one. The P-01 had a pretty rough DA trigger and stout decocker when new but it has smoothed out nicely with over 1k rounds through it now.

The Glock 19 is great and it was my pick but the trgger is squishy and needs a little help.

I own more than a dozen 9mm pistols, but not one of them is on this list. I'm not sure what it says about me, or about the list. :)

I've owned all of the options except for the Hi-Power. I voted for the Glock 19 because of the reliability and ruggedness of the gun. I really appreciate a gun you don't have to worry about keeping clean and well taken care of. I really loved my 9mm 226 (kick myself for selling it!) but the price tag on them makes me lean more toward the Glock. To me the CZ75 and the 92F are about neck and neck.

You really can't go wrong with any of the options they are all outstanding 9mm pistols.
