To my knowledge there is no HK P30 compact.

My favorite is HK P2000SK.

The HK 45C looks cool but i haven't got my hands on one yet.

Kahr K 40 elite This gun feels like it was made for the 40cal I just wish they would make the K series in 45 and this would be my favorite

While I really am fond of my SR9c and I wanted to vote for it, my G19 is practically the same overall size, has a longer barrel and has 5 more rounds. The G19 is also lighter. So, it's the G19 for me.

I picked the SIG P239 but mainly because I use a P220 as my full size HD gun and I want as much similarity between the two as I can get to avoid learning 2 systems for defensive use. The P239 is a fine pistol but in terms of weight and capacity there are better options for a 9mm compact.

I love my XD9sc, but I imagine I could live with and EMP. :)

Haven't shot most of the guns on your list. What can I say I'm in my 20's and from San Francisco, I celebrate any time I can get someone to go to the range with me. When a friend actually purchases a gun, its like a holiday.

My 2 cents worth in the 9mm carry. Winter fall and spring, Sig P228 is hands down my favorite. I have had my P228 since 2001, I put over 3000 rds through it, and it has never had a misfire or jam. For the hot summer, kahr pm 9. I have had this one for less than a year but so far its done its part. After the 200 rds break in period. I have bought S&W M&P 9c a couple of months ago. But I havent got the right holster for it yet.

I bought the XDm Compact .40 earlier this week. I almost bought that weapon in 9mm instead so the XDm Compact got my vote.

I own none of these, so I cannot vote based on any level of experience. To actually vote on experience would require that I own all of them. My EDC is a Kel-Tec PF-9. Of those listed here, the one that I find possibly the most intriguing is the PX4 Storm, followed closely by the Para Ordnance Carry 9. I'm not a Glock fan, nor am I one of single-action models (being left-handed has, over the years, greatly limited my exposure to them), so quite a few from the list fall off quickly.
So, I voted based only on intrigue..

My personal favorites are the S&W 3913 / 908. They are very accurate for me, reliable as the sunrise, and carry very well in a Crossbreed Supertuck. The decocker/safety is a feature I also like a lot on a civilian general-purpose concealed-carry auto.

Kel-Tec p11 after trigger work and fluf-n-buff. Yea so I had to do some work on it to get it up to my liking, but now I have a completely reliable subcompact that is lighter than anything on the market, holds 11 rounds, and has a trigger equal to or better than anything I can buy new... for $250 new... Plus I can use all my 15 round smith 59xx mags in it.

Also not on list the Ruger LC9 which mine has almost 3,000 rounds thru it. And,I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

For compact, the CZ PCR. After that, the Glock 19/23.

For subcompact, I guess the Glock 26, though subcompacts have fallen out of favor with me.
