I thought about all the things I could say to this kid, who has so far done little to argue logically, and done alot to aggravate all of us, so I'll just say

Flip it around, folks….anyone ever hear of Judo or Ju Jitsu?

Whether he is a troll (I'm 80% leaning that way) a wet-behind the ears annoyance (I'll give that one 10%) or a well-meaning youngster (do the math) he has initiated some provocative and interesting discussion.

I haven't seen anything new in these posts, but I have read some good old standards/arguments/points of view presented in a different manner. At the very least he has made us all pay more attention to our semantics and punctuation

That, having a dictionary available, and making sure my spell check works….

Bottom line is, if we walk away from this still striding on the high road we will have promoted our cause and ratified our beliefs……not a bad result from the efforts of a (maybe) troll.

When a person tries to kill you, you don't (and really shouldn't) worry about their safety. I have no remorse for a person who'd intentionally harm an innocent, and they definitly don't care about your life. If I find a man crawling through my kitchen window, he's getting shot. It's his own fault, I didn't ask him to break into my home. And for all I know he has incredible pain tolerance, so shooting him anywhere else might be a bad idea. You can't reason with the unreasonable (obviously...), so there's no point trying to talk to him. It's better to risk the life of a lunatic criminal than to risk the life of myself (the victim), my grandmother (also a victim) and anyone else that's in my house.
If a man breaks into another's home and gets shot, he brought it upon himself.
Do unto others.

I'm a huge fan of pistols of all kinds, it's hard to nail down a favorite. I like 1911s, Browning HPs, CZ-75s, VP-70s, USPs, Colt SAAs, Colt Pythons, and you just gotta love the noisy cricketts...for they are cute.
I'm also a fan of lever action rifles in pistol calibers.

instead of the good ol' coltm4, why don't you get the Austeyr 88??? much better..... as for me, i'll take me ol' paintball gun, loaded w/me cold balls, cold balls in this time of year will put a real heads up on anyone i have to soot...an' if i feel the need to have something more lethal, i'll load it with: JAWBREAKERS...oh yeah, i told you all this before....oh well, pardon me!!! off we go!! titty up, away!!
