What's your favorite high capacity pistol?

I was saving for a nice Kimber CDP but with the ban over I think I want to take advantage of it before some lib shoves some more b.s. down our throats.

I'll get that Kimber it'll just wait a little longer.

I like .45 but may consider .40 maybe HK.

Anyhow, what are some of your faves?

My favorite is my '69 Browning Hi Power... absolutely nothing feels better in my hand... but my daily carry is my (shudder) Glock 17...

Mine is a Para Ordnance 12.45 LDA. I also have a Glock 19 that I sometimes carry with a highcap mag with the two round extension and a 10 rnd spare mag. I never thought about high-cap until I almost got jacked by a carload of 4 or 5 gang members at an ATM. At the time I had a Colt 380 Pocket Ponylite (sp?) in my pocket. The thought of making every weak shot count haunted me. I now usually carry a Kahr MK40 with a spare 6 rd mag in my pocket or the Para with 2 spare 12 rd mags (usually in winter when concealment is easier).

Glock 23, .40 cal. Hard to beat for it's size.
If I liked 9mm, I would definitely get a Glock 19. Basically the same gun.

CZ PCR and CZ75B SA with a touch of trigger work. Still isn't as good as the IPSC Standard trigger but that might be a tad scary for carry use anyway.

Well let me see....I own 2 Sig .45's and a Springfield .45 and none are high capacity but all are carried as my primary CCW. I also carry a Kel-Tec P11, about to become a P13 since the release of the high capacity mags again. So I would have to say that my favorite high capacity gun is my Kel-Tec. I was at the range with it the other day practicing with all 4. I am able to hold 2" groups consistiently at 15 yards with the Kel-Tec, standing and shooting freehand. I feel 100% confidence in this gun. I have put around 500 rounds through it without nary a hiccup. This gun really loves the Federal 147gr. Hydrashocks for those 2" groups.

Para Ordnance P14.45 Limited

Also like all my other Para's: P13.45, P16.40 another P14.45
Hi Powers come in at the top too. Then there is that CZ 75 that a guy sent home with me.....

Smoke

CZ-75

Maybe not a fair answer since it's my only pistol with > 10 round capacity, but it's reliable, accurate, fun, and comfortable to shoot. Although I've considered buying second pistol in it's class many times, my trusty 9mm CZ does everything I ask so there's never been a need to. I may get one in .40S&W some day though.

CZ83 in 380 with 13+1 mags. Power of a J frame snub five shot with standard pressure 38 spls., but nearly triple the number of rounds on tap.

Nice compact size and weight, and an easily carried single spare mag gives you 27 rounds or two spares gives you 40. It's more likely to be with you than the bigger and better guns when you don't expect trouble.

Use Hornady XTP's with just short of 10" unclothed gel penetration and just under 14" of clothed gel penetration or Cor Bon for stopping power up to about 70% estimated.

You could do worse - very easily.

CZ PCR. I can carry 14 in the mag and it is the most accurate gun I own. I have a G27 I like a lot too. I would like to handle a G23 some day, I think that would be just about perfect for concealed carry.
