Situational awareness has to be numeral uno.
Being aware of your surroundings has to be at the top for what ails you.
If you don't know what's happening (to you), you can't react correctly.
Although part of - training then kicks in. & better yet than "dealing with it," many situations can be offset (for lack of a better current thought process) by a thorough understanding of what is happening to you & how to defuse it.
Trading a couple quick verbal barbs, accepting an "insult" & yup, even running away are sometimes a much better tactic than having to employ yer fave shooter.
Living is right up there with my favorite enhancers. Staying out of the legal system has to be a solid second choice.
Best bet though mentioned for a more static thing would be a trigger job. A 12 pound pull on a 3 pound gun can't help anything.
Three primary motivators I learned a long, long time ago FUD,
Fear, Uncertanity and Doubt. If this can't make you put forth the effort to overcome them you will not succeed.
It may sound a bit simple but the use of a spotting scope has helped my shooting. Frequent range sessions with 22 rimfire handguns and rifle have also helped me improve.
