Can’t beat the hazmat charge though. If you happen to be there anyway. Prices seem to have bottomed at $75 for primers for now. Loaded rounds bottomed two weeks ago and have gone back up.
I’m seeing plenty of stores that have primers in this area and have had for months. People are steady grabbing them. $70-$99 a brick depending on brand. Size hasn’t mattered. That includes basspro and LGS’s
My nearest is Bass Pro shop at 50 miles away . I really don't want to drive that far for empty shelves. It was great when I worked down there and I could go at lunch.
I saw they had tons of ammo (well pounds) but no primers—do I head out there? Na. There is a big gun show this weekend maybe reloaders will be there—weren’t at last one.
Thanks again
I'll be out that way (Gainesville Cabelas) next weekend, I might stop by and see if anything miraculously remains or has appeared on the shelves. Not too many store within 30 miles of me carry primers (just inside beltway). Only finding them on the trader site, anywhere from 125-200 per thousand. Not willing to pay that much yet, but $75...maybe.
