Does anyone have info on the new Federal 22lr. punch ammo?
Info on any 22 ammo would be nice.
round nose or hollowpoint cci minimags at $12/100, 10 box limit, free shipping on orders over $99. quiet, blazer, standard, velocitor are available too. https://www.cci-ammunition.com/rimfire/
i’m a diehard rimfire shooter, especially as i age and centerfire ammo costs $1/each these days. i often carry a 22lr handgun for protection in my tame locales. i really cannot get excited over federal punch ammo: hard to find, uneven federal quality, a bit insulting to introduce new ammo during a drought... a consistently accurate series of double taps to centermass of reliable and accurate minimags simply works, for me anyway.
Just advertising, a whole new line of self defense ammo, .22 and centerfire.
Introduced in a panicdemic when they can't keep up with orders for the regular stuff.
in my region, ammo is beginning to populate, not the "regular" supply, but more than has been seen in months, .224, shotgun, 556, 9mm, 38 sp, 41, .454, even a case or two of primers, a boatload of .40, etc etc, rimfire means no center-fire primers, and also as things begin to populate, we have demand and a scared public, this is the perfect time to launch, ammo industry is a business and this is smart, period! For the last idk how many months the ONLY rimfire pistols available were the heritage revolvers and the S333 in my area, from kids who will buy anything, to folks scared who will buy everything, to someone needing a true sd rimfire, there is a definite profit here, and this is a great time to launch!round nose or hollowpoint cci minimags at $12/100, 10 box limit, free shipping on orders over $99. quiet, blazer, standard, velocitor are available too. https://www.cci-ammunition.com/rimfire/

'cept for them raccoons and rabid wombats and drop bears !Keltec PMR 30 for me. The Speer Gold dots are specifically made to expand from a 2" barrel.
I carry the PMR when I'm out doing some lite work off in the woods or field. 25 rounds of 22WMR should take care of any small critter I may need to dispatch of.
