I am pondering getting a low price Hi-Power type handgun. I've narrowed it down to the FEG P9M or the Charles Daly. I would like to hear opinions on each one. What has been your experience with these guns? Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

Most of the major componenets of the Daly are made by FEG, but they have lots more features and the hope of State-side customer service.
So...not really much of a choice at all, get the Daly.

This one.....I consider what work force has taken part in it's mfgr & assembly....Also, most reviews on FEG pistols are positive....Maybe they've learned from their CZECH neighbors....:)

I have the FEG and it's been a decent gun, a LOT better than the two Browning High Powers that I've had in the past (and half the cost).

Initially the trigger was a bit rough but that smoothed out with use.

I have no experience with the CD Hi Power but i did have a CD in .45 acp. We'll just say it no longer resides in my gun safe.

I do, however, have an FEG P9M. I bought it a few years back because i liked the looks and feel of the Hi Power and since it's a clone, all the Browning parts interchange. After shooting it a bit i really liked the gun. I let a friend talk me out of it. He had this Mustang 'vert, he wanted my Hi Power, i wanted the car...let's just say he left my house with my Hi Power and a handful of cash.

But it's back in my safe again. And it'll most likely stay there this time.

Can't speak for the P9M (don't have one) but many of the FEGs I've handled have been surprisingly decent guns.

i bought a CD HP about 2 months ago and i really like it, dont have any experience with the feg
