i know that this has probably been covered at least once before but after looking around for a bit i couldnt find a thread. what are everyone's feelings on the FM Hi-Powers, the M95 and M95 Detective? i've read good reviews but wanted the real deal from BHP lovers as i am a brand new BHP lover with a college budget. the FEG PJK-9HP is another one i have considered. if no one has anything to say and knows where an old thread is, please direct me to it.
Also, i have heard a few negative things about the FEG P9M and P9 M-9HP. I was wondering what info might be available on them as they are also in my price range.

thanks!!

Of the 2 I'd get the FM, I believe it is a licensed copy and the parts are more interchangeable. Been looking for the right FM and FEG to pop up too at a good price.

The FM M95 is not a licensed copy. Go over to handgunsandammo.proboards36.com where you can find plenty of info. poppy

IMHO as long as CDNN is still selling FN Hi-Powers for $400 forget about the FM and FEG clones. I've all three, got the FEG for $225 10+ years ago and the FM 8+ years ago for $250, and while both are good guns for the money the FN for $400 is fantastic value.

Are you 100% sure that FN never licensed HiPower production to the Argentines?
Never said that FN never licensed the Hi Power. My
The FM M95 is not a licensed copy.
They of course did license the HP to the Argentines before the M90 and M95 pistols were made. I have one of the licensed clones made in the 1980's. poppy

We bought 2 FEGs from different dealers at the Indy 1500 back in the fall. Both of them were horrible. Neither would feed anything at all. I've had FMs in the past that all worked just fine. I vote FM.
